AST Transport (registered office Blackmore Park, Hanley Swan, Worcester, WR8 0EF) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry through the contact form we collect your name, the phone number and/or email address you give us, the service you are asking about and your message, together with the date and time and the IP address the message was sent from. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, to provide a quote and to carry out any work you ask us to do. Our lawful basis is that this processing is necessary for the steps you have asked us to take before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business and preventing misuse of the form.

If you call or email us we will hold the details you give us for the same purposes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your details. Enquiries may be delivered to us through an email provider acting on our instructions. Where we carry out work for you, details may be shared with our drivers and operators so they can do the job. We may be required to share information with regulators or the authorities, for example waste transfer records.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can refer back if you contact us again. Records relating to work carried out are kept for as long as accounting, tax and waste regulations require.

Cookies

The public pages of this website do not set tracking or advertising cookies. The map on our contact page is provided by Google and may set cookies subject to Google’s own privacy policy. A single essential cookie keeps authorised staff logged in to the news administration area.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). The content of this website is provided for general information. We take care to keep it accurate but it does not form part of any contract, and specifications, availability and prices are confirmed when we quote. Photographs, text and the AST Transport name and mark are our property or used with permission and may not be reproduced without consent. We are not responsible for the content of external websites we link to. These terms and this notice are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
